Salmofood Launches New Functional Diet: Relief Restore
On March 24th, in the city of Puerto Varas, Salmofood officially launched its new functional diet, Relief Restore.
This new formula is part of the Relief nutritional solutions line, designed to support fish recovery by alleviating symptoms or sequelae following stress events such as disease treatments, handling, or other production-related stressors.
The event featured the participation of legendary Chilean footballer Elías Figueroa Brander, who delivered an inspiring keynote titled “I Can”, as a prelude to the product launch.
His talk explored key moments of his personal and professional journey, focusing on motivation, perseverance, and nutrition — highlighting, just like Relief Restore, the role of proper nutrition in “recovering during critical and high-demand periods” to achieve peak performance.
Eduardo Suazo, Salmofood’s Technical Assistance Manager, presented the diet and outlined its key benefits, noting:
“It helps repopulate the gut with beneficial bacteria following the use of medicated feeds. It strengthens the immune system, reduces disease risk, enhances nutrient digestion, improves growth and intestinal integrity, and boosts feed intake.”
